A Wreck Truck, based on a Bedford "O" Type, was the first model to be issued as No. 13 in the Matchbox Series. It had a short crane box, no model number or desciption on the base and its crane jib was kept in place by a clip.
13-A was replaced in 1958 by a second Wreck Truck, also based on a Bedford "O" Type. 13-B had a longer crane box, a model number and desciption on the base, and its crane jib was kept in place by the rear axle.[1]
