Comparison of NASA Tracking Vehicle (bottom, Mobile Home similar) and Command Vehicle bases. The Tracking Vehicle casting maintains the opening side door, operated via the red half-circle at bottom middle. In the Commend Vehicle the door is cast shut, but the base retains the space for the door.
Comparison of the bases of MB41-C (top) and 25-E. 41-C shows Superfast icon, vehicle # (No 41), Made in England and Lesney; 25-E was made outside of England, lacks the Superfast and vehicle numbers, and moves the copyright date to between the front wheels.
