Matchbox's 1981 Peterbilt casting went on to serve as the basis for at least five truck types:

Each model shares the same cab, including twin exhaust pipes and a molded-in-place driver on the same piece of plastic. The bases are uniformly labeled Peterbilt, with no further specification. The cement mixer and dump truck share the same body casting, with different beds. The tanker and wreck trucks share a different body casting, with the upper bracket that holds the tow booms in place on the wreck truck serving to anchor the tank in the tanker. The tractor has its own body casting, complete with sleeper.
